There is a private corporation that hired musicians as full-time employees for the first time in Korea.

The company is headquartered in Yangsan, Gyeongsangnam-do, a barren land for opera, and is active in Seoul and other parts of the region.

It is said that they are also going to export K-Classic.

Reporter Kang Jin-woo reports.

The rehearsal for the New Year's concert of the art platform orchestra 'Mob' is in the near future.

The majestic sound of dozens of artists adds even more solemnity to the venue.

Mob, the only art corporation in Korea operated purely with private capital.

▶ Interview: Yang Jin-mo / Director of Mob Art Company

- "We, Mob Art Company, are the first in Korea to have 30 classical musicians as full-time employees and perform performances and other incidental performances."

We directly hire our artists as full-time employees, but let them plan and produce their own performances and do not interfere.

It is to provide a foundation for unfolding artistic capabilities as a full-time employee, not in an unstable state.

▶ Interview: Yang Jin-mo / Director of Mob Art Company

- "It's not just opera, it's not just opera, it's symphony, chamber music, and many other business programs..."

Top domestic musicians such as baritone Yang Jun-mo, tenor Shin Sang-geun, and soprano Kim Soon-young belong to the group, but their home base is located in Yangsan, South Gyeongsang Province.

In this way, K-Classic made based on the region is aiming for overseas export.

▶ Interview: Kim Ki-kyung / Chairman of Mob Group

- "To start a four-day concert for the first time in Southeast Asia, where the Korean Wave is widely spread, especially in Malaysia, where it is located to some extent..."

Mob will hold its first Southeast Asian concert next month with Asia's top-notch orchestra, the Malaysian Philharmonic Orchestra.
