"Now go stay"... Gyeongsangnam-do Hapcheon, taking a leap forward as 'Tourism No. 1'

Although Hapcheon, Gyeongnam has excellent tourism resources, there was a limit to staying in the city due to the lack of connection with accommodation facilities.

Hapcheon-gun said that it would make the No. 1 tourist spot, and rolled up its arms to attract accommodation facilities.

Hapcheon, Gyeongsangnam-do is home to Haeinsa Temple, one of the three largest temples in Korea, and Video Theme Park, the largest filming set in the country. It is evaluated for its excellent natural scenery, with 2.5 million tourists visiting every year.


However, there is a limit that tourists cannot stay due to the lack of connection with accommodation facilities.

- "I've been to Haeinsa Temple and the Blue House set several times with my family, but every time I came, it was a pity that there was no place to stay."


In two years, this inconvenience is expected to disappear.


A hotel with 7 floors and 200 rooms will be built inside the Hapcheon Video Theme Part.


A concert hall, gallery, and swimming pool are also planned to be built, but construction has started recently with the goal of completion in 2024. ▶ Interview: Ki-Kyung Kim / CEO

- "We entrusted the consignment operation to Hotel Lotte. It is a structure in which we make donations to Hapcheon-gun, and it becomes owned by Hapcheon-gun and we have the right to use it for 20 years."


Hapcheonho IC is scheduled to open at the time of completion, which is expected to help attract tourists.

- "It seems that there will be a lot of demand for tourism where you can stay and go. So that the administration can also provide administrative support for the establishment of infrastructure for accommodating all visitors..."


Hapcheon-gun plans to further expand lodging facilities to increase tourism demand and increase the image value of the region.
