Yangsan City prepares opportunity to advance into Southeast Asia for regional specialties

| Signed an agreement with Mob Asia to sell 120 Parkson department stores


Yangsan City has established a bridgehead to export regional specialties to Southeast Asia including Malaysia.


The city recently signed a business agreement for win-win development with MOV ASIA in Malaysia, and decided to make a mutual effort to promote exports of local processed foods and specialty products to Southeast Asia. Mob Asia plans to sell local specialties as well as various cultural and artistic products that represent Korea at 120 PARKSON department stores throughout Southeast Asia, including Malaysia, Indonesia and Vietnam, and in China.

Chairman Chin Chu-ha, who visited Yangsan to sign an agreement, is a singer and actor who gained worldwide popularity by singing 'One Summer Night' in the 1970s. Currently, he serves as the chairman of LION GROUP, the largest distribution company in Malaysia, and the LION PARKSON FOUNDATION. Chairman Jin established Mob Asia in partnership with MOV, a Korean art platform company that promotes K-Classic to the world as a Korean company. Mob Asia also launched the 'MOV CHOICE' brand to promote Korean culture.

Chairman Jin said, "I am happy to supply world-class processed food and specialty products from the Yangsan region to Southeast Asia such as Malaysia.
